What is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting is a FDA-cleared fat-freezing technology, also known as Cryolipoysis, that we use on areas of the body that
hold pesky fat pockets. The fat cells in our bodies are unable to withstand cold temperatures, so they freeze when exposed to certain temperatures. This causes the fat cells to die, and the body subsequently removes these dead cells 2-6
months or more later. After this happens, you can expect up to 20% - 25% fat reduction in the treated area. This non-invasive procedure produces long-term results and requires little to no downtime following the completion of the
treatment.

What should I expect?

Before the procedure begins, your aesthetician will place a clear gel pad on the area being treated, which serves as a barrier between your skin and the cooling panel. Once you are prepped and relaxed, your aesthetician will place the applicator on the treatment area, at which point you will feel a light suckling sensation. During the course of the procedure, you may feel tingling, tugging, aching, stinging, intense cold, mild pinching, and cramping – these sensations will lessen as the treated area becomes numb. Because this a non-invasive procedure that causes little to no pain, you can sit back and relax!
After the completion of your CoolSculpting procedure, your aesthetician will massage the treated area to break up the fat calls and enhance the fat reduction. Most of our patients experience minimal to no downtown following the procedure, so you can return to your normal activities without delay. You will see a 20-25% fat reduction 2-6 months or more after your CoolSculpting treatment. This one-of-a-kind procedure produces natural looking results that give you the slender, contoured physique that you desire!
